November 13th - Gloucester Presbyterian
We're holding our first "Meet & Greet" social for youth leaders (including clergy youth leaders) on Tuesday, November 13th, noon to 2 pm.
The social will be held at Gloucester Presbyterian, and lunch will be provided. This is a chance to get to know other leaders in the Presbytery and start to network with one another. We plan on having other socials, and are open to other days, other times and other locations.
No program is planned but I will take the opportunity to let you know about upcoming events - and you can talk about events in your congregation that you want to advertise.
December 16, 2018 - Trinity, Kanata
It's back but in a new location.
This year, Christmas in the Stable will take place at Trinity in Kanata/Carp. Come to be entertained - but also come to live the Christmas story. Taking advantage of indoor and outdoor spaces around the church, this year's event will be interactive as visitors will be able to talk with the main characters.
Stay tuned for more details (times, etc.) as they become available.
Jan 18-20, 2019 - Trinity, Kanata
Have youth who want to be confirmed but too few to hold your own retreat? But what if youth from several congregations were to come together for a truly special confirmation retreat (not sleepover) at Trinity, Kanata.
That's what is being planned for January 18th-20th, 2019. Details are still being sorted out as well as cost. Topics: God, the Bible, the Good News, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Missionaries, Church History (the Reformation), Presbyterianism, and Sacraments.
Come, experience God's presence and deepen your own faith through discussions, activities, fellowship, good food and just plain fun!
